Stuck?

wonder what’s next?

or, who’s with you on

your journey?

“just start again…”

My breaking point came after a particularly brutal stabbing involving a young college student. The swath of blood that followed us to the trauma room made me realize I'd had enough.

After 16 years as a critical care paramedic, I found myself increasingly cynical.

But, a moment before the call gave a poignant promise. I saw it on a second-floor window of a yoga studio, and it caught my eye: “$90 for 90 days.”

I had spent more at the bar. In fact, numbing my problems with wine was quickly becoming an appalling solution.

The promise of creating peace amidst the chaos inspired me, so I seized the opportunity on my next day off.

I knew I was stressed.

I needed out, but I felt trapped.

Poorly processing unresolved trauma, alcohol, and high-adrenaline adventures were likely to get me killed.

So …

I made a decision, followed the teachings, and moved to India and Thailand to study with the masters. I lived, taught, and studied in Asia, immersed in the yoga culture.

The transition from the adrenaline-fueled world of paramedicine towards the promises of yoga marked the beginning of an over 25-year transformative journey.

It's been a gradual exploration, a journey filled with healing and self-discovery, navigating the contrast between the high-stakes nights in emergency care and the tranquil potential of a practice for life.

I’m a seeker, just like you.
AND NOW, I’m ready to help you on your path.
